QUESTION OF THE WEEK: PICK YOUR DREAM RACE AND ROAD CAR COMBINATION

Motorsport isn’t everyone's cup of tea, it’s true. But you don’t have to be an avid fan to hold an appreciation for the stripped-out, bare-knuckle machines which compete in them. From the record-breaking Porsche 962 and the mad Ford RS200 to the sonorous Alfa Romeo 155 V6, there’s something out there for everyone.

But for all the adrenaline produced at the thought of driving one, or as starry-eyed as you may get when you see your favourites in the flesh, racing cars aren’t very… practical. Nor are they comfortable, generally speaking. But what if you could change that?

This week, we want to ask what you’d combine if you could pair the engine and body of any racing car with the interior of any road car. But most importantly, we want to know why you’ve chosen what you’ve chosen.

Think Mazda 787B’s minimalist interior swapped out for that of Bentley Batur; or a Peugeot 205 T16 with a modern Mercedes-AMG S63’s cabin. Let’s gloss over the fact that, dimensionally, none of these would work. Because bringing logic into the equation is never fun.

Last week’s Question of the Week drew a massive response from you lot, so we’re looking forward to combing through this week’s comment section before highlighting our favourite builds in this Friday’s result post. Don’t strain yourself too much, we know this is a tough decision to make…
