EE OFFERING UP TO £550 OFF PS5 AND XBOX CONSOLE BUNDLES THANKS TO WARZONE MOBILE

Phone network EE is tempting customers with big savings on Xbox and PlayStation console bundles, to tie in with the Warzone Mobile launch.

It’s safe to say that Call Of Duty: Warzone Mobile’s release was hotly anticipated, given that Activision revealed that back in October 45 million fans had already pre-registered to play it.

The first person online battle royale launched March 21 on Android and iOS and EE, Warzone Mobile’s official mobile partner, has listed two bundles on its website, for Xbox and PlayStation.

The bundles include either an Xbox Series X or PlayStation 5, plus a Backbone One controller for mobile phones, as well as either Xbox’s Game Pass or PlayStation’s PS Plus Extra for 24 months, plus extra in-game Warzone content.

EE claims the bundles can save you up to £550, although only if you’re already an EE customer.

The Xbox gaming bundle is priced at £31 per month for 24 months (£744 total) with a £20 upfront charge. It’s only available if you’re an EE Pay Monthly customers, and includes:

  • Xbox Series X.
  • Backbone One Xbox Edition (USBC and Lightning versions available).
  • 24 months Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.
  • 24 months EE Gamer’s Mobile Data Pass and Video Mobile Data Pass.
  • Includes exclusive in-game content for Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile with Backbone One purchase.
  • Includes bonus in-game content – calling card, charm and emblem that feature the Kawaii Killers, only available via EE.

The PlayStation 5 bundle is priced at £31 per month for 24 months as well, and includes:

  • PlayStation 5 Slim Disc drive.
  • Backbone One PlayStation Edition (USBC and Lightning versions available).
  • 24 months PlayStation Plus Extra.
  • 24 months EE Gamer’s Mobile Data Pass and Video Mobile Data Pass.
  • Includes exclusive in-game content with Backbone One purchase* and  in-game content – calling card, charm and emblem that feature the Kawaii Killers, available only via EE.

EE claims these bundles offer big savings for its customers, with the Xbox bundle adding up to £551 in savings and the PlayStation version £531.

The free-to-play Call Of Duty: Warzone is a big hit on consoles and PC and that will no doubt follow for the mobile version as well.

It seems a little odd to be promoting a new mobile game by trying to get you to buy a console but either way it’s a good deal.
